Used Whistler TRX-1 in perfect working condition. With the new software updates, this scanner will also decode digital NXDN transmissions that it was not capable of decoding when first marketed. I have not downloaded the most recent updates. You will need to install the updates to get NXDN decoding to work. Works great with all current digital systems used by police, fire, and other services. This is a great scanner that works very well. After a number of years of being inactive in amateur radio and scanning I bought this scanner mainly to listen to police and fire. But, shortly after I realized I had very little interest in hearing police and fire after work.

I have been in law enforcement now for 25 years and I found the last thing I want to do after work is listen to the departments in my home area. I like the break from work I get at home..
