ModelMaker D100 Digital Handheld Laser Scanner. The ModelMaker D100 scanner's unmatched accuracy, ease of use and performance make it the ideal tool for capturing data for inspection, reverse engineering or other 3D data capture applications. Featuring True Digital Camera technology, the ModelMaker D100 represents a step forward in 3D laser scanning, incorporating several groundbreaking innovations such as the second generation of Enhanced Sensor Performance (ESP2) technology. The ModelMaker D100 with ESP2 enables scanning a wider range of colors and surfaces. As the scanner moves over an object, it tracks changes in surface conditions - shape, color, reflectivity - and adjusts laser power and sensor settings in real time.

This allows it to scan almost any material and any finished surface. The ModelMaker D100 easily connects directly to a Windows PC via an Ethernet connection, requiring no additional controller. A single compact cable is sufficient to connect the scanner, articulating arm and computer. In addition, the scanner can be powered by a battery (optional). Fast scanning (high frame rate, wider laser lane).
