I would still be using it except our police department changed to encrypted transmissions. The scanner comes from a smoke free home and looks like new.

I have included 3 rechargeable batteries. You will have to program this scanner. I have included a FTDI USB Serial Cable to connect to your computer. (With instructions) You may have to download specific drivers for the computer you are going to program it with. I had programmed this scanner with the frequencies I got from the scanmaster web site for my particular area. I have deleted all my frequencies and reset the scanner to exactly like it was new. I have included a Scancat-Lite programming disk that I absolutely hated. I found the free software of FreeSCAN to be much easier and user friendly. It can be downloaded at. It is a little challenging at first, but once you get the hang of programming it you will have a blast.
